Taline Boyamian
Taline Boyamian joined Ardalan & Associates as an associate attorney in 2007. With her, Ms. Boyamian brought a remarkable understanding of legal theories and their practical application in a legal proceeding. She executes each task with personalized attention to the needs of each client, while understanding the ethical obligations imposed upon attorneys. Ms. Boyamian currently handles all aspects of family law and criminal defense. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Boyamian paved her way to a career as an attorney while pursuing a major in Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). There, Ms. Boyamian was a member of the Dean’s List and received High Honors at the time of graduation. She wrote a Senior Honors Thesis entitled,
“Efficacy of Drug Treatment Programs on Women: The Effect of Proposition 36”, for which she received the
“Excellence in Research” Scholarship Award, and was published in the UCI Symposium publication. After working with individuals in need of legal assistance to help put their lives back on track, Ms. Boyamian realized her growing desire to help others utilize the legal system to effectuate their goals. Not only did Ms. Boyamian aspirations to become an attorney thrive, she realized her obligation to do justice on a daily basis.
During her tenure at Loyola Law School, Ms. Boyamian stood out as both an outstanding oral advocate and distinguished writer. Ms. Boyamian competed in Loyola Law School’s Scott Moot Court competition, and stood out as a top brief writer finalist. She went on to compete at the American Bar Association’s Regional Moot Court competition in St. Louis, Minnesota where she competed with various law schools, and received high marks for her oral advocacy skills. Ms. Boyamian also exhibited excellent trial skills in both her law school’s Trial Advocacy clinic, as well as her advanced trial advocacy courses. Her professors praised her for “executing each assignment with poise and professionalism beyond her years.” The Honorable Beverly Reid O’Connell.
Before joining Ardalan & Associates, Ms. Boyamian served as a law clerk in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where she conducted over thirty-five preliminary hearings. Prior to working for the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Boyamian assisted in a major white collar criminal trial while working for the Law Offices of Geragos & Geragos. Ms. Boyamian also served as a legal extern for the Honorable Judge Aurelio Munoz of the Los Angeles Superior Court where she was able to research and prepare legal memoranda, observe court proceedings, and assist in preparing tentative rulings. Additionally, Ms. Boyamian served as a legal extern for the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law, where she represented the legal rights of indigent parents in dissolution of marriage and paternity proceedings.
Presently, Ms. Boyamian continues to give back to the Loyola community as an assistant coach on the nationally recognized Scott Moot Court competition team. Ms. Boyamian is admitted to practice in the State of California and all of the U.S. District Courts of California. She is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and the Armenian Bar Association of Los Angeles (Armenbar).
